We offer speech and language therapy assessments and support for children and young people aged 0-25. We specialise in enriching communication environments to ensure you have all the skills and tools you need to support your child’s speech and language skills. Flexible appointments available.

  • Preschool screening service

    £200 + travel costs

    Our 1 hour preschool screening service will look at your child’s communication skills and assess whether these are in line with typical development.

    Our preschool screening service is ideal for;
    - Children aged 0-4 with speech and language difficulties
    - Children on a waiting list to be seen by NHS speech and language therapy services
    - Children who have been recommended a speech assessment by the health visitor.

    After the session you will be emailed a summary of the results, alongside any recommendations for how to support your child’s communication at home.

    (If your child has complex communication concerns or is suspected to be neurodivergent we recommend a full initial assessment)

  • Initial Assessment

    £400 + travel costs

    Our 60-90 minute full initial assessment process will examine your child’s medical and educational history, environmental factors and all communication skills.

    Our full initial assessment is ideal for:
    - School aged children with speech and language difficulties
    - Neurodivergent children (including Autistic children, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, situational mutism)
    - Stammerers

    After the initial assessment you will be emailed a full report with a detailed breakdown of your child’s communication profile and tailored recommendations.

    (If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) we recommend our £600 statutory assessment)

  • Statutory assessment

    £600 + travel costs

    Our 90-120 minute full statutory assessment process will examine your child’s medical and educational history, environmental factors, all communication skills and recommendations within their current Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

    If suitable, we can carry out a full standardised Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals (CELF-5) assessment.

    Our statutory assessment is ideal for:
    - Children with an EHCP or in the process of a needs assessment

    After the statutory assessment you will be emailed a full report with a detailed breakdown of your child’s communication profile and tailored recommendations, including recommendations for the ‘communication and interaction’ section of their EHCP.

  • Tribunal assessment

    £800 + travel costs

    Our 120 minute full tribunal assessment process will examine your child’s medical and educational history, environmental factors, all communication skills and recommendations within their current Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). If suitable, we can carry out a full standardised Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals (CELF-5) assessment. Our tribunal assessment is ideal for:

    - Families within a tribunal process of appealing their current Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

    After the tribunal assessment you will be emailed a full report containing the following:
    - A detailed breakdown of your child’s communication profile
    - Implications of difficulties on the child’s education and social functioning
    - Environmental provision recommendations
    - Speech, Language and Communication Goals
    - Tailored recommendations, including recommendations for the ‘communication and interaction’ section of their EHCP.

  • Adult assessment

    £200 + travel costs

    Are you an adult with concerns about your own communication? We can support you with your communication concerns!

    For example:
    - If you don't like the way you pronounce a
    particular sound.
    - If you have a stammer
    - If you are selectively or situationally mute
    - If you identify as Autistic or neurodivergent
    and need support with any communication
    challenges.

    (If you are seeking therapy for a relative who has suffered a stroke, or needs support with eating/drinking/swallowing, we are unable to support however, you can find a suitable therapist on the ASLTIP website https://asltip.com/ )
